Inform others:
friends, family, work colleagues, by word of mouth, by phone,
email, distributing leaflets. Write to your local TDs, Senators,
MEPs.
In light of the admission by UN Under-Secretary
General Chakravarthy Narasimhan that it was a "whitewash",
write to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dept. of
Foreign Affairs, 80 St. Stephen's Green, Dublin 2. Ask him/her
to call for a United Nations review of its conduct in relation
to the Act of 'Free' Choice in West Papua in 1968-69.
Organise a meeting on West Papua
in your area, school, college, ... (contact the campaign for
speaker and/or video).
Write to local and national
newspapers, radio stations, and to TV stations expressing
your concern over the situation in West Papua, and asking
them to give more coverage to the issue.
